Hapkido
Hapkido is a Korean Martial Art that utilizes joint locks, grappling, and throwing techniques to defeat an attacker. Hapkido uses both long range and close range fighting techniques. Hapkido emphasizes circular motion redirection of force and control over an attacker.
Hapkido stylist seek to gain advantage over their attacker through footwork and body positioning to incorporate leverage avoiding the use of brute strength against brute strength.
Hapkido teaches weapon disarms, trapping techniques, and a variety of other techniques which make it a great self-defense art.
